Our next fundraiser is turning up the volume!
Battle of the Bands is landing soon at one of Oxfordshire’s most unique hidden gems, a quirky café that transforms into a buzzing bar by night. Expect an electric atmosphere filled with soul, sound, and purpose.
🎤 The Concept?
Incredible talent from across the UK, DJs, bands, solo artists, instrumentalists will go head-to-head in a live showdown. You decide who wins by casting your vote for your favourite act on the night.
🏆 The Prize?
The winning act will choose the next charity partner for hhac. Together, we’ll support their mission with the funds raised at the event and charity work hours: helping to drive change in: health, homelessness, animal welfare, or children’s services.

In 2024, we started running various events to raise money for charity and change the nature of fundraising, and we’re already making big plans for 2025.
We found traditional fundraising events overwhelming, overzealous, and overbearing—or, for lack of a better word, pushy. Who wants to walk into an event and feel pressured to donate immediately? Who wants to sit at an auction and be made to feel guilty for not wanting anything?
So far, our efforts and funds have already contributed towards:

The generosity of individuals like you fuel hhac. Donating towards our Food Voucher Program directly contributes to providing groceries for a person or family in need. Every donation, no matter the size, can make a significant impact.
Our easy-to-use online donation platform allows you to select an amount to donate. Whether you choose to cover the cost of a food voucher for an individual, a couple, or an entire family, you can rest assured that your contribution is directly helping to put food on the table for someone in need.
Over time, we aim to partner with many charities aligned with these initiatives.
We donate the fundraised money as well as support the charities we partner with on:
We’re making charitable fundraising different. When you’re tied on who to donate to, look to us. We have 4 different causes, meaning your money goes to 4 groups: hungry, homeless, animals, & children. This is through fun events such as sports or challenges.
We also want to make fundraising an exchange of goods. We’ll make money through the sale of items or online products. This means your hard-earned money goes towards helping charitable causes. Plus, you receive something in return that’s of value – this is the new fundraising way.
We have plans to grow, and our current aim is 3-4 events per year. Want to help our mission?
